Day 1 (29/2/2020)

Departure at 9:50 am. Arrival at Medan at 9:40 am Indonesian Time. Reaching Meditation Centre at Lunch Time. City Tour afternoon. Dhamma Talk at 7:30 pm.

早上九时五十分启程。抵达棉兰当地时间九时四十分。抵达禅修中心刚好是午餐时间。下午市区游。晚上七时半佛法开示。

*All participants are arranged to stay together at Meditation Centre, lunch & simple dinner will be provided free of charge.

*所有参与者被安排住在禅修中心以及免费提供午餐及简单晚餐。

8 Precepts One Day Retreat & Dhamma Talk   八戒一日静修营及佛法开示

Day 3 (2/3/2020)

After Breakfast, proceed to visit Bada Hill’s Simalam Leisure Park. After lunch, proceed to visit Lake Toba, Si Piso Piso Waterfall & other tourist spots.

早餐后。出发到峇达山的 Simalam 休闲公园。午餐后，前往瞻望多峇湖， Si Piso Piso 瀑布及其他景区。

B.L.D free of charge & Overnight at Golden Stupa Monastery

免费提供早午晚餐及住宿在大金塔寺院。

Day 4 (3/3/2020)

After breakfast, proceed to Parapat & go to visit Sumosier Island by ferryboat.

早餐后出发去 Parapat 搭渡轮过去岛中岛 Sumosier 观光。

Day 5 (4/3/2020)

After breakfast, return to Medan & lunch taken on half-way. Dhamma Talk at night (Optional).

早餐后回棉兰市。半途用午餐。晚上佛法开示 （可选的）。

Breakfast & lunch free of charge. Self-servicing dinner & overnight at Meditation Centre. Medan Snacks & Fast Food available at Hawker Food Centre nearby Meditation Centre.

免费提供早午餐。晚餐自理及住宿在禅修中心。禅修中心外就是小贩饮食中心有棉兰小食及快餐。

Day 6 (5/3/2020)

After breakfast, free movements & self-practice time until lunch time. After lunch, shopping hour & Dhamma Talk at night.

早餐后自由活动和自修时间直到午餐时间。午餐后自由活动购物。晚上佛法开示。

Breakfast & lunch free of charge. Self-servicing dinner & overnight at Meditation Centre. Medan Snacks & Fast Food available at Hawker Food Centre nearby Meditation Centre.

免费提供早午餐。晚餐自理及住宿在禅修中心。禅修中心外就是小贩饮食中心有棉兰小食及快餐。

Day 7 (6/3/2020)

After breakfast, free movements & self-practice time until lunch time. After lunch, free movements & leisure time until the time for proceeding to Airport.

Departure to Penang at 6:45 pm & reach Penang at 8:35 pm. End of Indonesia Tour.

早餐后自由活动和自修时间直到午餐时间。午餐后自由活动时间直到前往机场时间。

傍晚六时四十五分班机飞回槟城。晚上八时三十五分抵达槟城。结束印尼之旅。

Lok Yi Xuan, aged 4, is the first ever Malaysian little girl to have excellent opportunity to be the main sponsor of Nepal Kathina Robe Offering Ceremony & participate personally in the Ground Breaking Ceremony of Pagoda/Stupa in this very life. Due to the excellent good karma done in the past lives, we can be able to participate in both greater holy Buddhist events at the same time in this very life. The chances of being able to be the main sponsor of Yearly Kathina Robe Offering Ceremony are hard to come by, let alone to be able to participate personally in Ground Breaking Ceremony of Pagoda/Stupa. We really do not know after how many lives have passed we can get such excellent opportunity to be able to participate in both greater holy Buddhist events. The chances are just like fishing for a needle in the deep ocean & we do not really know in which life we can get the chances to participate & witness personally such greater Holy Buddhist events. Once the chances are lost, then we do not know for how long we have to wait & get the chances again. If only staying in Malaysia, it is surely that we will not get the chances to accumulate greater merits in this very life. According to Buddhism, every living being needs merits for better survival, otherwise life will be full of suffering, lamentation, upset, etc.
Congrats to all of you to get the chances in this very life. All living bings rejoice & appreciate ! The greater merits you accumulate in Kathmandu, Nepal will bring you lasting benefits & happiness until you attain the highest bliss of Nirvana. Sadhu !

四岁骆义萱是第一位马来西亚小姑娘今年有机缘成为尼泊尔卡帝那袈裟主要布施主以及亲身目睹参与佛塔动土仪式庆典。今生能有机缘在同一时间参与此两种佛教神圣活动是在过去修了很多世的善业才有机缘在今生得遇。要有机缘成为年度卡帝那袈裟主要布施主都已是可遇不可求，更何况是亲身目睹参与与支持佛塔动土仪式庆典不知要经过多少世才能有机缘得遇。在佛陀教法里此两种佛教神圣活动的功德是很殊胜与高尚。只是成为卡帝那袈裟主要布施主的功德都很殊胜，更何况再参与佛塔动土仪式庆典所获的功德都是双倍殊胜。要有机缘同一时间亲身参与此两种佛教神圣活动可说是可遇不可求就如在深海里捞针这么的困难，也不知道要经过多少世才有殊胜机缘得遇。此殊胜机缘一错失，不知要等到什么时候或哪一世才可以再得遇此机缘累积更殊胜的功德。若只呆在马来西亚，很肯定的这一生是不可能有这样的机缘累积更殊胜的功德。依据佛教教理，每个有情众生都需要功德才能有比较好的生活，不然就会活得很痛苦，懊恼等。

-1989 年二月依止 苏哇諾尊者 (Bhante Suvanno) 在槟城弥陀寺出家受沙弥戒，同年四月依止緬甸禅师 悟. 阿伽達摩尊者 (Sayadaw U. Aggadhamma) 在槟城马来西亚佛教坐禅中心受比丘戒。
-1990 年亲近著名緬甸禅师 悟.般諦达尊者 (Sayadaw U.Pandita)在槟城马来西亚佛教坐禅中心精进修习智慧禅i。
-1991 年前往斯里兰卡 (Sri Lanka) 研修上座部佛教以及巴利文經典。
-1997年七月前往印度攻读印度哲学以及佛教哲学。
-2002年 担任檀香寺主办的国际佛教大学佛学讲师以及马来西亚佛学院学务主任兼佛学讲师。
-2003年 再度前往印度继续攻读印度哲学以及佛教哲学博士学位。
-2005年六月至 2007年一月 担任印度英语及外语学院和印度亚贷网络私人有限公司中文教师。

-He became a novice (Samanera) under Bhante Suvanno at Mi Tor Si Temple, Ayer Itam, Penang in 1989, February and in April he got higher ordination as a Bhikkhu under Sayadaw U. Aggadhamma at Malaysian Buddhist Meditation Centre, Penang.
-In 1990 he followed the intensive course of Vipassana Meditation under the well-known Burmese meditation instructor Sayadaw U. Pandita at Malaysian Buddhist meditation Centre, Penang.
-In 1991 he went to Sri Lanka for the study of Theravada Buddhism and Pali Texts.
-In July 1997 he went to Pune, India for the study of Buddhist Philosophy and Indian Philosophy
-In 2002 he became a Dharma lecturer of International Buddhist College under Than Hsiang Temple as well as a Dharma lecturer and Director of Students’ Affairs of Malaysian Buddhist Institute, Penang.
-In 2003 he went back to Pune, India for further study of Ph. D. Degree.

Gathering & Departure Venue: Persiaran Mas, Japanese Garden, Greenlane. There are plenty of space for car parking at Japanese Garden free of charge. All participants can park vehicles overnight.
