Itinerary of Day 1: PENANG / KUALA LUMPUR / KATHMANDU  (Dinner) 

At 11 am Assemble at Penang Intl Airport for Flight OD2103 to Kathmandu. Lunch at Penang Intl Airport on own expenses, Kuala Lumpur Intl Airport & Kathmandu Tribhuvan Intl Airport. Upon arrival at Kathmandu Tribhuvan Intl Airport at 20:35, you will be met by the representative, sent for dinner & check-in in the hotel.

Itinerary of Day 2: KATHMANDU  (One Day Tour in Kathmandu ) (B.L.D)

7 am breakfast, then proceed to visit Pashupatinath Temple (cremation ground), Baudhanath Stupa – one biggest Stupa in Nepal on the Mandala. Lunch at Sayadaw Jhanapurnika's Vishwa Shanti Vihara Meen Bhawan, Naya Baneswa, Kathmandu.
After lunch proceed to Kathmandu city visiting Kathmandu Hanuman-dhoka Durbar Square – the old Royal Palace Complex, House of the Living Goddess, Kal Bhairab (The Red Monkey God), Kimdol Vihar Janabhal – Temple of White Macchindernath.

Itinerary of Day 3: KATHMANDU / POKHARA  (B. L.D)

7 am breakfast, then proceed to participate in Kathina Ceremony organized by Nepalese Theravada Monastery -Buddha Bhumi Buddhist Centre in Sthula, Tokha, Kathmandu & 200 monks & nuns will be invited to attend & accept offerings. Afternoon proceed to Pokhara. Dinner & check in at Hotel Third Pole.

Itinerary of Day 4: POKHARA  (One Day Tour in Pokhara) (B.L.D)  

7 am breakfast, then proceed to sightseeing in Pokhara, Shanti Stupa & Devi’s Water Fall. Return to Hotel for lunch & then proceed to visit Phewa Lake & Local Market of Pokhara. Dinner at the Hotel Third Pole.

Itinerary of Day 5: POKHARA  (B.L.D) 

Early morning trip to the Sarangkot for the Sun-rise View & Bidyabashini Temple & Gupteshwar Mahadev Cave & back to Hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, leisure time. After lunch, proceed to visit Matepani Gumba (Tibetan Buddhist Monastery, Refuge Camp or Settlement). Dinner with cultural dance.

Itinerary of Day 6: POKHARA / LUMBINI  (B.L.D)

7 am breakfast, then check-out from Hotel Third Pole & drive to Lumbini enjoying the natural scene along the way. Upon arrival you will be sent for dinner & check-in at Hotel Ananda Inn.

Itinerary of Day 7: LUMBINI   (B.L.D)

7 am breakfast, then proceed to visit Lumbini Garden, Ashoka Pillar, Maya Devi Temple, Marked Stone of Exact Spot of Buddha’s Birth-place, Puskarni Pond, Eternal Flame, International Monasteries like Tibetan Monastery, Japanese World Peace Stupa, etc. Return to Hotel for lunch & then proceed to visit Kapilavastu in Nepal – the hometown of the Buddha estimating 1½  hrs journey - 35 km, Tilaurakot, Nigrodharama Temple and back for dinner & rest.

Itinerary of Day 8: LUMBINI / CHITWAN   (B.L.D)

7 am breakfast & then check-out from the Hotel Ananda Inn & proceed to visit Ramagrama & Devadaha which is located in the Eastern Tarai of Rupandehi district of Nepal. It is 35 km east of Lumbini. It is also the home town of Mayadevi the mother of Prince Siddhartha and his step mother Prajapati Gautami. It is also again the home town of princess Yashodhara, the consort of Prince Siddhartha. 

And continue to drive to Chitwan enjoying the natural scene. Upon arrival check-in to Meghauli Wildlife Resort. After lunch going for a village tour to a nearby ethnic Tharu village where you will learn more about the life & life-style of the Tharus & visit the National Park Visitor’s Centre where you can learn more about the history of the National Park & wildlife & then proceed to view the Sun-set from the bank of Rapti River. Tharu cultural dance presentation (which you will also participate in) by the local villagers.

Itinerary of Day 9:  CHITWAN  (B.L.D)

6:30 am breakfast, then proceed to Canoe Ride along the Rapti River. An excellent opportunity for bird watching & for seeing the two rare species of Crocodiles, the Marsh Mugger, the fish eating Gharial. + Jungle Walk + on the way back one can enjoy the Elephant Bathing.

After lunch, proceed to visit Elephant Safari. An excellent opportunity to see four different kinds of Deer, Rhinoceros, Wild Boar, Monkeys, Leopard, Sloth Bear & the Royal Bengal Tiger (if you are lucky). You will also encounter many other smaller Mammals that have made Chitwan their home. Tharu cultural dance presentation or slides show presentation.

Itinerary of Day 10: CHITWAN / NAGARKOT  (B.L.D)

6:30 am going for Bird Watching. 7 am breakfast & then check-out from the Meghauli Wildlife Resort  & drive to Nagarkot. Lunch at the Riverside Springs Resort, Kurintar (www.rsr.com.np). Upon arrival, you will be sent for dinner & check-in at Hotel Country Villa.

Itinerary of Day 11: NAGARKOT / KATHMANDU / KUALA LUMPUR   (B.L.D)

Early morning trip to view sun-rise & back to Hotel for breakfast & then proceed to Bhaktapur for participating in Bhante Rahula’s Kathina Ceremony of Nyanakuti Vihar Banepa. After lunch proceed to visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square & early dinner at Café De Patan, Lalitpur (http://www.cafedepatan.com/). After dinner straight to the Kathmandu Tribhuvan Intl Airport for our Flight OD2102 back to Penang.


Itinerary of Day 12: KUALA LUMPUR / PENANG

Arrival at KLIA at 04:20 & take Flight OD2102 back to Penang at 0800 & reach Penang at 0900. By the merit accrued from the Holy Nepal Tour May all Participants be blessed with all blessings, being able to meet good people from life to life & free from all obstacles in Dhamma practice & gain the cessation of suffering as soon as possible !
